Storm Jam LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026 · Last updated October 13, 2026
The short version
- Our Roku channels don’t collect personal information. They have no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking.
- Roku processes purchases and collects its own data under Roku’s privacy policy, not ours.
- If you email us, we use your message only to reply and help you.
- We don’t sell or share personal information.
1. What this policy covers
Storm Jam LLC (“Storm Jam,” “we,” “us”) makes channels for Roku streaming devices and runs the website stormjam.com. This policy applies to:
- every Roku channel published by Storm Jam LLC (see the current list at stormjam.com/roku.html);
- the website stormjam.com; and
- emails and other messages you send us.
2. Our Roku channels
Our channels do not collect personal information. Specifically, they:
- do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details;
- have no user accounts, sign-in, chat, or ways to post content;
- show no third-party advertising;
- contain no analytics or tracking software, and do not use your device’s advertising identifier; and
- do not build profiles of you or your viewing.
Settings saved on your device
Some channels may save simple settings on your Roku device, such as your preferences or a high score, so they’re there next time. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Content loaded from the internet
Some channels load live content over the internet. For example, our weather channels fetch forecasts. When a channel does this, your Roku device connects to our servers or to a third-party content provider. That server receives the technical information every internet request includes, such as your IP address. For weather, it also receives the location needed to show your forecast. This information is used only to deliver the content you asked for. We do not store it or use it to identify you. A third-party content provider handles it under its own privacy policy.
3. Purchases through Roku Pay
Our channels are sold through Roku Pay. Roku processes your payment, and we never receive your payment card details. Roku gives us records of purchases of our channels. These records may include a transaction identifier, the product purchased, the date, and the price. We use them only for accounting, tax, refunds, and customer support. We don’t use them for marketing.
4. Roku’s own data collection
Roku collects information about how its devices, and the channels on them, are used. That collection happens under Roku’s privacy policy, not this one, and we don’t control it. You can manage some of it in your Roku device and account settings.
5. Our website
stormjam.com does not use tracking cookies or analytics, and it has no user accounts. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and to keep the site running. These logs include IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request.
Our site links to Roku’s channel store and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to help with support or refund questions. Our email provider stores messages on our behalf. We keep messages only as long as we need them, and we delete them on request.
7. Children’s privacy
Many of our channels are family-friendly, and some are designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 or under the minimum age in your country. Our channels give a child no way to submit personal information to us. They have no accounts, chat, ads, or tracking.
Channel purchases are made through the Roku account holder’s account. Roku lets account holders require a PIN for purchases.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us at contact@stormjam.com. We will delete it.
9. Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we have, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires (for example, tax records).
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, and you can ask us to correct or delete it. Email contact@stormjam.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm the request is really from you, for example by replying to the address you emailed from. We honor these requests from everyone, wherever you live.
EU, UK, and Switzerland: we process messages you send us based on our legitimate interest in responding to you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict processing. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
California and other U.S. states: we do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California and other state privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Do Not Track: we don’t track you across websites or apps, so there is nothing for these signals to turn off.
11. International users
Storm Jam LLC is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your message will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will say so clearly on this page.
